Student Worker Material Master Data (m/f/d)

NIHON KOHDEN is currently improving its Spare Parts Delivery Processes.

In particular, we running a project to clean an restructure our material master data in SAP.

You will support our Manager Service Business Development to clean our current master data from outdated, wrong and duplicated information. You will also build bills-of-material to define sellable spare parts kits (Repair-/Maintenance Kits).

Additionally, you will support our head of master data to improve the quality of data transfer for our products between SAP and Salesforce.

Your work is an essential building block to improve our sales for service and spare parts.

Your responsibilities:

  • Capturing data from existing sources (parts catalogue, service manuals)
  • Analyze our current master data database and compare it with the latest relevant information
  • Clean our master data database
  • Build bill-of-material items to enable sales of the same from our headquarters and local organizations
  • Work with the Team in promoting data consistency through SAP and Salesforce 
  • Liaise with Purchasing and Item data teams to improve our data quality 
  • Attends pre-production planning and participate in post-production discussions

Your profile:

  • A student in a relevant subject area: IT, Service Engineering or related
  • You have an eye for the details and are an exact person by heart
  • Experience with EXCEL, SAP, ORACLE or other ERP systems are a plus
  • You are interested in data management and/or technical service business
  • You are sociable and have a high degree of initiative, creativity, and a sense of responsibility;
  • Creative and target focused work style;
  • Ability to understand user needs
  • Proficiency in German and English, other languages are an advantage. (written and spoken).
  • Intercultural openness and ability to work in a team
