Are you ready to make your contribution to the energy transition? Take on a strategic role at H-TEC Systems as a "LCOH - Levelized Cost of Hydrogen" analyst and ensure the technological leadership of our electrolyzer portfolio. In this cost modelling role, you will implement a systematic approach to provide our customers with LCOH optimized plants for the most cost-effective production of hydrogen. In the interface between product management, engineering & sales, the position offers exciting scope for shaping an LCOH-focused organization and sets the course for a successful and sustainable future of our highly competitive portfolio.

Your tasks

  • Development of techno-economic calculation models for risk assessment of different development paths
  • Extension & improvement of existing LCOH tools for customer- & segment specific optimization of our products
  • Regular implementation of new findings from internal research and external boundaries to continuously improve our LCOH forecasting capability
  • Embedding of calculations in attractive user interfaces for internal as well as external users
  • Analysis of market developments & competitive activities in the field of LCOH and implementation of advancements into own modeling
  • Derivation of recommendations together with the H-TEC team which influence and control the development process of our future products

Your profile

  • Successfully completed degree in a technical, scientific or commercial field
  • Relevant experience in modeling ideally in the field of hydrogen or the energy industry
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking skills combined with flexibility and strong teamwork skills
  • Profound knowledge in various environments such as Excel, R or Python
  • High level of techno-economic understanding and the ability to integrate both perspectives 
  • English Language: fluent in spoken & written
