Charging needs to be simple and easy to use, therefore we focus on digitized and customer-oriented services. We develop white label public, semi-public and as well as home & and workplace charging solutions for automotive OEMs and fleet operators. These services provide access to multiple networks of Charge Point Operators (CPO) and enable drivers of electric vehicles to find, use and pay for public charging in an easy and seamless way. 
Since the beginning of 2019, Digital Charging Solutions GmbH has been part of the mobility joint venture between the BMW Group and Daimler AG. With bp as third shareholder, we got more forces in to fulfill our vision. CHARGE NOW is a service of DCS and part of this joint venture, which aims to strengthen sustainable mobility together with the other verticals FREE NOW and SHARE NOW. 

Your mission:

  • Initiate first contact with potential customer/partner and build a trustworthy professional relationship.
  • Lead the B2C strategic customer/partner acquisition funnel and process for B2C customer/partner (e.g. digital platforms) for our international Brand CHARGE NOW. 
  • Planning and execution of launching and managing new B2C business opportunities with the aim to build for future scale.  
  • Contribute to building an end-consumer centric product & customer portfolio of options that provide short, medium and long-term commercial benefit for DCS.
  • Trigger sales development of complex charging solutions, including consulting of customers (together with partners) and in close collaboration with Product Team.  
  • Collaborate with the different DCS stakeholders (Product & IT), in close collaboration with our Bid / Pricing and Commercial contract management team. 

Your profile:

  • University Degree in management, economics or similar field 
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a related position in the e-mobility industry and digital platform business. 
  • Deep market knowledge in EV charging technology, digital platform business, software protocols and related business applications. 
  • Proven track record in sales and partnership development for complex technical solutions.
  • Experience working in an international environment and confidence negotiating with big customers to close the deal.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to discuss and transfer technical and commercial details internally and externally.
  • Excellent organizing and prioritizing skills with result orientation.
  • Excellent English language skills at negotiation level; proficiency in German; other languages are a plus.
  • Willing to travel within the defined commercial area
