Charging needs to be simple and easy to use, therefore we focus on digitized and customer-oriented services. We develop white label public, semi-public and as well as home & and workplace charging solutions for automotive OEMs and fleet operators. These services provide access to multiple networks of Charge Point Operators (CPO) and enable drivers of electric vehicles to find, use and pay for public charging in an easy and seamless way. Our business has also expanded to the B2C sector are we are currently launching our own CHARGE NOW app across Europe. 
Since the beginning of 2019, Digital Charging Solutions GmbH has been part of the mobility joint venture between the BMW Group and Mercedes-Benz Mobility. With bp as a third shareholder, we have got more force to fulfil our vision. CHARGE NOW is a service of DCS and part of this joint venture, which aims to strengthen sustainable mobility together with the other verticals like FREE NOW. 

Your Mission:

  • Support the maintenance and iterative development of our customer service tools (such as Zendesk, Chatbot, FAQ, and internal database…) 

  • Improve the system by finding solutions for new requirements or bugs of the internal tools with or without external partners 

  • You solve technical problems without losing sight of IT governance, legal aspects, customer support staff, customers, and cost/time considerations in collaboration with our technical experts 

  • Work with our customer service team to identify tooling challenges and develop solutions with a strong customer focus ? 

  • Increase customer satisfaction and support efficiency by identifying technical issues and developing a way to solve those 

  • Work on continuous improvement of customer service, FAQ and other content based in a “data-driven” environment 

  • Assist in prioritizing internal service tickets and processing them 

  • Create and maintain Customer Service tools and process-related knowledge artefacts. 

Your Profile:

  • Currently enrolled in the 2nd half of a degree program, or graduated in engineering, business administration, or a comparable field with an analytical focus 

  • Able to work as a full-time intern in our Berlin office from September for a duration of 9-12 months. 

  • High customer orientation, with excellent written and verbal English communication skills  

  • Ability to understand and solve technical challenges on multiple internal and external tools  

  • Analytical expertise, strong problem analysis and solving skills? 

  • Comfortable working within a high-paced, impact-driven environment and getting hands-on to get projects to move forward. 

  • Team player, positive attitude, and high level of professionalism? 

  • Solid interpersonal and intercultural skill set with the ability to collaborate and positively influence diverse stakeholders. 

  • Curious and determined to gain (further) insights into the e-Mobility business
