Aerospace Data Security GmbH (ASDS) is an innovative technology company of the Airbus Group. For more than 25 years, we have been developing highly secure communication and cryptography solutions for customers in aerospace, defence, and other security-critical sectors.

Around 80 employees from different nations and disciplines work together at our three locations in Stuhr near Bremen. Our corporate culture is characterized by precision, team spirit, short decision-making processes, and open collaboration.

YOUR TASKS

  • Supporting and coordinating cryptography-related aerospace projects
  • Analyzing and implementing customer requirements in the field of secure data transmission and cryptographic systems
  • Designing, specifying, and integrating cryptographic systems into aerospace systems
  • Coordinating technical topics with development teams, testing and quality assurance, as well as project management
  • Creating and maintaining system documentation, specifications, and test concepts
  • Planning and performing system tests, security assessments, and verification activities
  • Advising internal and external stakeholders on cryptographic solutions and security requirements
  • Supporting compliance with security-related standards and regulations, such as aerospace or IT security standards

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed degree in a scientific or technical field, or comparable training or experience
  • Interest in cryptography, encryption technologies, and secure communication systems, along with the ability and willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas
  • Experience in the independent development of subsystems is desirable
  • Knowledge of aerospace projects or safety-critical applications is an advantage
  • Experience in requirements analysis, specification, and documentation is desirable
  • Analytical thinking, a structured and independent working style, and a top-down approach
  • Teamwork and strong communication skills; experience in interdisciplinary teams is an advantage
  • Business-fluent English; German language skills are an advantage
